What age can my child start Chinese dance classes?

Children as young as 3 years old can begin classes at Phoenix. They must be fully potty trained.

Does my child need prior Chinese dance experience?

No prior dance experience is necessary. All are welcome!

Can my child try a class before we sign up?

Yes! We want to make sure Phoenix is the right fit. If you would like to try a class before signing up, call or email to set up a time.

What should my child wear to class?

Each level has a uniform. Please check with your teacher for specifics. Soft dance shoes are required and can be purchased from the school if needed. A ballet bun is also mandatory for all levels.

Are classes in English or Chinese?

Classes are taught in both Chinese and English. The teacher will speak to your child in their preferred language.

Do I have to be Chinese to take Chinese dance classes?

No! Anyone who appreciates Chinese culture and wants to learn Chinese dance is welcome at Phoenix.
